The previous owner put air shocks on all 4 corners and they leak. The rims stick out a bit and the front wheels rub. I’d like to put some 60 series rubber on it. Not really wanting to put air shocks back on it.
I’d like to install a 1†coil spring booster up front . Does anybody know the spring diameter ? 1†is how much the air shock lifts the front. Refilling the shocks every morning is getting old
Maybe change the offset on your rims and have them tuck under your fenders. I have 60's on my b-300 dodge and they are fine.(235 -TA's) Had to buy special rims. I went from a 16.5 8 bolt to a 15" 8 bolt 8.5" wide, US Indy Mag.
Just use fresh springs, a lesson I learned the hard way. I wanted to lift my 89 G30 so I got new lowers, tubular uppers, and spring spacers. Did all the work and got some lift, tires still rubbed. Thought I'd try fresh springs and while I was at it I ditched the spacers, I noticed a difference in the springs while I had it apart. I got another 3/4" lift with out the spacers. The old springs looked good. If you take a tape measure and measure inside the spring from the LCA up to the spring seat you should have 10 inches.
