Since I took the paneling wall out I now need something to mount the inside bracket of the window to. Can I just get some plywood and glue it to the metal walls of the van and then mount the bracket to that or do I need to build a whole wall for this?
If the glue will work what type of glue will I need? | | | Re: Mounting Porthole Windows | Joined: Apr 2016 Posts: 764 Likes: 12 old hand | old hand Joined: Apr 2016 Posts: 764 Likes: 12 | Tough to be sure without pictures, but the old portholes had an inside ring that you could flip over and screw back into the outer window ring and it would pinch down on the sheet metal. No plywood needed.
