Hey all. My 1978 GMC van is about to get a new engine and while I'm at it I'd like to tackle some other projects. My van has the factory heater set up and (broken) dealer installed AC that hasn't worked in decades. Anybody had any luck with an aftermarket AC/heat set up on these vans? As far as I know, no one makes a direct fit kit for these, but I'm wondering if someone on here has had success with a particular generic street rod type kit. Thanks!
