I found this
van that I’m thinking of going with. What’s your opinions? Good find? They’re asking $5500. What would you offer for the van?$3000?$4000.
Also what is the best way to meet up with the seller and complete purchase? What precautions should I take? I never met up with someone from the internet community before.

I've bought and sold a few vehicles on CL. Bear with me. Yeah, you need to call and talk to the owner. Verify it's real See it in person. To sell, I personally, would never meet anyone at my house .Always go to a neutral spot with peeps around.
I would never carry that much cash to an initial meet. Better to meet up at the Bank to do a deal. I have bought cars from nice people at their house. It all depends on the situation. You'll get a much better feel for it talking with the seller.
As far as price goes, IDK much about the A Vans. My BBC, the guy wanted 4K. I offered $3500 and he took it.
You've got shipping to consider. I figure $1.00 per mile for that. My guy is out of El Paso Tx, but he gets around...
Good Luck Jona!
