Anyone know where I can find one of these? Although our van is a 1988 it has this exact part in it. I am looking for the same thing as a replacement but only see it listed as one for older vehicles. Still I'd like to get one like it that isn't $338. We don't have any salvage places near us. Ideas?

Thanks!

That price is nuts. Try this one: https://www.napaonline.com/en/p/BK_6601359

Appearance is different, but function should be the same. It is just a vacuum operated valve that shuts off coolant flow when you turn on AC. Unless you are restoring the van there is no point to the $338 valve.

Windows- they're what make a van worth owning!

Hey, Reed. Thanks! Yes, that price is ridiculous. I found it on other sites too but it was out of stock which I guess indicates the reason this site feels the price is valid. I saw that part at Napa but it had some bad reviews on other sites about cracking after only a short time in service. I'm thinking since ours still functions I may see what I can do with the metal barb to make it work o.k. Appreciate the input.

Check out partsvoice, I see one listed for $75, but it may be used.
