My slider door handle won't go all the way into a horizontal position when the door is closed. It works and the door opens & closes without any trouble, it just seems like the handle is crooked.

Does it just need to be removed and put back in a different position? I've removed the inner handle (that's the easy part) but can't figure out how to remove the exterior handle!

The outer handle is suppose to slide out once the inner is removed. But if its anything like mine its rusted in place. Also my outer handle can be pushed down into the horizontal position but will only stay there if locked.

I just found this thread that mentions a set screw holding the outer handle on from inside.

I'll need to take a closer look when I get home.
