Soft caster wheel brings the door out far enough to not rub tire. I would post a picture if I knew how lol | | | Re: A solution for rear tire hitting sliding door! | Joined: Dec 2017 Posts: 494 Likes: 21 addict | addict Joined: Dec 2017 Posts: 494 Likes: 21 | But...an easier solution already exists. | | | Re: A solution for rear tire hitting sliding door! | Joined: Feb 2018 Posts: 59 journeyman | OP journeyman Joined: Feb 2018 Posts: 59 | | | | Re: A solution for rear tire hitting sliding door! | Joined: Feb 2018 Posts: 59 journeyman | OP journeyman Joined: Feb 2018 Posts: 59 | I know they make one for ford but haven’t seen a Chevy | | | Re: A solution for rear tire hitting sliding door! | Joined: Jun 2010 Posts: 18,286 Likes: 559 | Joined: Jun 2010 Posts: 18,286 Likes: 559 | Take the one you got cut it and extend it.

They are hard to find these days, so the easy solution is to cut and extend your current one, or take two and splice them to make a longer one.
Windows- they're what make a van worth owning! | | | Re: A solution for rear tire hitting sliding door! | Joined: Feb 2018 Posts: 59 journeyman | OP journeyman Joined: Feb 2018 Posts: 59 | | | | Re: A solution for rear tire hitting sliding door! | Joined: Dec 2017 Posts: 494 Likes: 21 addict | addict Joined: Dec 2017 Posts: 494 Likes: 21 | I know they make one for ford but haven’t seen a Chevy The one I have and posted a pic of is for a Chevy. They're actually pretty common on conversion vans. People sell them for big money on eBay but I got mine for six bucks at my local Pick Your Part. | | | Re: A solution for rear tire hitting sliding door! | Joined: Jun 2010 Posts: 18,286 Likes: 559 | Joined: Jun 2010 Posts: 18,286 Likes: 559 | Well I just found a extender for you, its on this "Good Times" van that I went to look at. Lots of good parts on this one ! Good bumpers, tail light covers, chrome wing windows, good doors all of them, even the tires have beauty trim rings. There isnt a scrach on this van ! https://sandiego.craigslist.org/esd/pts/d/1984-chevrolet-g20-van-for/6541054401.htmlI did ask him to remove the "Good Times - Estate" badges. they are way cool
