Hi guys,
New to Vanning. I don't actually have a van yet but recently caught the bug. I thought it might go away but it seems to be getting worse. So, I guess you could say I am in the market but currently without the funds to really get what I want. (Which is what I'm trying to figure out). So being a newb, I've done limited research but sort of settled on what I'm looking for. I don't know if all my likes exist in one model but here goes - let me know.

Dream van would be a Chevy G10 shorty, with swing-out side doors, and a front grille like this stolen from a Facebook van page (thanks Mike if you're here -hope that's OK) Oh, and with fuel injection. I understand that FI can be upgraded but I'm only mildly mechanically inclined. I like a fairly stock look, with minor external mods. Clean.

Welcome aboard!

A shortie with EFI and cargo doors on the side is not an issue...my '95 was set up exactly that way. But that grille is a little earlier, I "think" pre-EFI. So you'd have to convert to that if you start with a later EFI van...I think. lol

Well , there aren't any in Tucson. Use "Searchtempest" to peruse Craigslist ads. With regards to FI , time to learn-TBI is nothing but a really expensive carb.

Welcome! The hunt is always fun, good luck in your search! You should be able to find some rust free gems in AZ.

Most of them are gone. I know of three between here and Yuma. All in "private" boneyards and the idiots won't sell. All have been sitting for 15 + years.
