there is so many opinions on timing these 350 tbi engine's, factory say's o degrees others say 4/6 degrees,i would like some member's opinions on this,thank's

I'd say you've covered it.

The factory spec is 0*.

If the old hotrodder in you just can't resist to add a few degrees of base timing, add 2, 4, or 6. Play with it and see what it likes. My L03 ran best with 4. But the swirl port heads do not respond well to more than that.

Factory on a 454 is 4 deg but the 350 is -0- ...

thank's,, i played around with it a bit today and o/4 no real difference.but found my egr valve is on it's last leg's.so at least i didn't waste my time pulling the doghouse !
