Still trying to find new LCA. I find them for C10s, G10s up to '86, and G30s. But nothing new for G20s. Some say C10 up to '87 will work and some say they won't. Any help would be great. Thanks.

Moog was supposed to start a R series arm for the C10 but never released it. The 1/2 ton uses the 1.5" shaft though, The 20's biggest problem is the 2" lower shaft, The only other truck to share this shaft is the suburban 2 wheel drive, so all support has dropped off. The 1/2 and 3/4 ton share the same bushings and BJ.

Here is a thread where he tore the vna ft end down completely.

Just need to find the part that you need to replace just the ball joint instead of the whole c-arm.

There's 5 Suburbans in the yard at the WrenchaPart here in Lubbock 1985, through 1994. If your search for a new LCA doesn't pan out, at least know that they do exist in the Wild. Should be a few in SoCal too.

Good Hunting!

You could always call A & B here in San Diego, our largest scrap yard.

Thanks. I've done a complete overhaul of the front end and replaced anything that needed replacement. The BJ on the LCA is loose. Kinda wigles but shouldn't pop out. So for now the ball joints are welded in to keep it from moving.

It's pretty messed up being the G20 van is the most popular work van made and no one is making a replacement arm, I have a 84 the last arms I got where from the junk yard, a nice low miles conversion van was picked clean and sent out for scrap. Locally no one is giving up on there vans, so many are being repowered and put back in action. I assume it comes from loyalty and the lack of new V8 rear drive vans.
