Yes a 4x4 van. No there are not many out there so I suspect I will have to start scrounging parts together. I know of an 86 Blazer that is bound to have somethings I can use but I have also heard that the axle widths are too narrow, your thoughts?

I have also looked at Boulder OR but need to do more research.

I will have some parts probably around may of next year. I will have a 400 turbo, the adapter for the transfer case, and the transfer case if you are interested. Probably will ask 1000 for everything. I would use the 205 but I want a little lower ratio than it offers plus the nv4500 manual trans I'm putting in it. An atlas 2 will bolt right up to that transmission while a 205 wont. I will also have a rearend for sale when I do the changeover. I won't have a front end though.

You will need a rearend and front end with a 70" WMS TO WMS while a pickup truck is only 66". The rearend I have is the stock 1 ton, 9.5" 14 bolt. It will be fine for most of what you want to do. I have a 10.5" 14 bolt corparate rear that I am building. It is a better rearend for towing and hauling heavy loads. Both rearend are 8 on 6.5 wheel pattern. You, or anyone else is welcome to call so it can be discussed in detail what you would need. My number is 317.410.9918. Attached is the picture of the 9.5 bolt.

Thank ya sir. I still have a lot to do on it. I'm going to put a light bar across the front and marker lights all the way around

I have the rack up on the bench and working on the light bar and the rest of the lights. It's looking pretty good besides that I ran out of lights!
