Thank you for the kind words though, I appreciate it! You can still follow my van club @vanerealsvanclub I dont have it, but my buddies will still post pics of my van at some point I'm sure.

I was thinking that the fiberglass high top I have on mine probably increases the weight significantly, but not so much up front as in back. It looks to me like you achieved much more lift than I have by swapping the springs, and I'm almost thinking that I ordered 6454 and got 6452 (stock) springs. your van sits about as high above the 31"s (in the earlier photos) in relation to the fenders than mine does with the 235/75r15's up front, after the swap to HD springs. Any suggestions. Wait to get the 31"s installed and then see where I'm at?
I know that 235/75r15's are really about 29" in diameter, while 31x10.5r15's are actually about 30.5" in diameter, so its only going to increase by 2 inches, with one of those inches increasing ride height and the other moving the tire closer to the wheel well/fender etc. Just sort of at a loss. Thanks man.
EDIT: After comparing the photo of your front suspension with the HD springs and looking at mine, the gap in between each coil is much narrower on mine than yours. Im beginning to think I got 6452. Or maybe i need to use something like the 6560 for the c30s.

I dont think your fiberglass top should make that much of a difference honestly. I would not get anything stiffer, the 54's are already stiff enough.

The ride height seems almost exactly the same. The angles of my control arms are much more closer to normal than yours were with the 6454 springs in. ill try some new ones. thanks man! 1995 Chevy G20 Rockwood Conversion | | | Re: 1973 Chevy G20 | Joined: Jan 2021 Posts: 1 stranger | stranger Joined: Jan 2021 Posts: 1 | Hi Deathorvictory,
Dose your front suspension ever bottom out and cause the 31s to rub? | | | Re: 1973 Chevy G20 | Joined: Mar 2021 Posts: 208 Likes: 35 enthusiast | enthusiast Joined: Mar 2021 Posts: 208 Likes: 35 | Awesome van! I'm definently a GM man. Nothing looks better. Love those slots! | | |
