Wanted to say thank you for your service to all veterans!

Both my late Grandpa's were drafted and served in WW2 soon after graduating H.S., one was a Tec4 and served in the states as a ham radio operator which was always his hobby.

My Grandpa Ralph that originally owned my 95 G-Van was in the 66th Infantry Division (Black Panthers), 870 Field Artillery Battalion. Christmas Eve of 1944, he was on a ship next to the SS Leopoldville on their way from England to France when a German U-Boat sunk the Leopoldville killing over 700 from his division. After that instead of going to the battle of bulge as planned they were assigned to take care of the enemy remnants left in France. I believe after VE day his battalion became MPs until they came home latter that year, then he soon after married my Grandma, and became a career firefighter for 30 years.
