Edit: try RV boneyards first. Find what years should swap and start looking. Under-hood stuff is about universal. Under-dash is gonna be van specific but might fit more years than you think.

As stated above, aftermarket "kits" made just for vans are non-existent. If you can find a donor with A/C (at a donor price) it would most likely be trashed or missing pieces. But with patience you may find everything. Like Ben said, arm yourself with knowledge of what will fit and be prepared to hunt. A generic kit (as shown) or using a rear air system, as Reed said, from a mid 90's Suburban might be your choices. I have such a Suburban rear system in my '88 Ford hi-top and I usually run it by its self to cool the van.

I was hoping someone on here already did this and had a co and model they could suggest. | | | Re: Aftermarket A/C | Joined: Mar 2016 Posts: 339 enthusiast | enthusiast Joined: Mar 2016 Posts: 339 | Find a GOOD boneyard. And start cross referencing underdash parts. They'll be able to tell you what will fit. ANd then you'll be able to tell what will work because if it has a different part number-the cross reference book will say it won't fit ,when in reality it will.
