I recently acquired this 1978 Ford E-150 Short Van with a inline six,has carburetor. Has 4 speed standard on the floor. According to the person I aquired this van from,it hasn't been started for about 3 years. He said it started to knock and he shut it down instantly and coasted to a stop. He said he had the motor gone through and a new clutch and pressure plate put in. He said he drove it to Florida and back, ran like a dream. It started knocking 80 miles from home,he towed it himself with a bumper install hitch and it's been parked for the last 3 years. Please understand this is all hearsay. He wanted to crush it for scrap and I said I could give it a good home. I have a clear title for it. I'm asking $2,500.00 firm because I've looked on the net for this type of van and can't find it,so I know it's rare. It has a slider on the side and barn door on the rear. There is very little rust and the interior is in good shape. The rust is on the passenger rear fender, small spot on the drivers side of the hood,in the front floorboard and a little on the body mount in the rear on the driver side. The other reason I know it's rare is I have 1990 Ford E-150 full size with barn doors side & back that is even rarer than this one is. To ship this van I would work with you. For serious inquiries I have more pics. For a fast response please email me at.....firstname.lastname@example.org. Going through this site takes awhile. Thanks for looking....

Like I said in my ad....It's what he told me....I would rather not try to start it and ruin the motor more than I was told. My 1990 Ford E-150 runs like a champ and burns no oil at 270,000 miles. Just has the typical ford gasket leaks. My parent's 2010 Toyota Prius burns 3 quarts of oil between a 10,000 mile oil change. Nice looking van by the way. Is it a slider or barn doors??
