I have been looking everywhere for 76 taillights and I can't find anything:(. A guy at chevy said that anything 85+ they changed the tail lights.... so I guess my question is what do you pre85 guys do when you need to replace your taillight covers?!

Are you looking for the tail lights that have the white band around them ? Those are harder to find.

Just anything that will fit in the 76. At this point I don't care I just need something that fit 76 and I'll look for the older ones at a later time.

Even harder to find are the ones for a Nomad package that have a chrome strip instead of the white .

You need the old ones. 71-84. The 85+ ones mount totally differently and the sub harnesses are totally different. I found mine in a yard. I'll ask around if any of my friends have any, are you looking for just the lens or the whole bucket?

I am hoping to go back to my local yard in about a week to grab some more stuff off an '80 Chevy that used to be some electric contractor's van. I think I remember the tail lights were intact, not 100% sure though....if you want them I can grab them and charge you for cost, let me know or send me a private msg.
