Vent window | Joined: Aug 2017 Posts: 1 stranger | OP stranger Joined: Aug 2017 Posts: 1 | Does anybody have any advice on how I might fix my vent window (the little triangle one in the door next to the regular window... it turns on an arm and flips out to open). It seems like somehow the little arm it turns on got stuck or seized up in there and when we tried to close the window it broke off the arm/hinge. The little arm won't turn at all and so even if I were to reattach the window to it it's still stuck in the open position. I opened the door and I could reach up and feel it inside. It doesn't go down in very far, but I couldn't tell really anything I could do. Now my vent window is just dangling there letting rain in. | | | Re: Vent window | Joined: Jun 2010 Posts: 18,312 Likes: 569 | Joined: Jun 2010 Posts: 18,312 Likes: 569 | Welcome to the site ....
It sounds like you need a new or junk yard window .... the side of the vent window is the track for the big window. If things are broke not much you can do with that but get a new one. They are not the easiest to replace, it wants blood....lol
Duct tape it inside & outside till you get a new one ....
My '92 was in CR I got it 8 yrs ago. I flew there & drove it home.
Again welcome ...
