Hey guys,

I'm on the hunt for a pair of Cast Iron Heads to suit my 68' 318 SB...Does anyone know of any around or where I can look to find em?

I'm in London U.K.

I have a small crack on my right hand side head, not really a major issue right now, but I have a couple of exhaust manifold bolts that have sheared off...My aim is to try and sort the engine out as money allows rather than swapping out..It's a nice motor, whoever had it before has tricked it out cam/stroked etc

Any leads would be appreciated!

Cheers

Bourneavanner,

California Cylinder Head supplied me with a set of nice heads for a 4.3 Chevy OMC marine application. My heads were toast. I looked around Southern California, and I was glad I when found a good shop who new what they were doing. It looks like they were aquired by ATK, who also supplied me with a 4.3 engine for my little Blazer. Qualitly units all.

I hope this helps get you closer to finding some heads for that sweet little vintage 318. I like mine too. Dodge's little workhorse motor.

Good Hunting Bourneavanner! Cheers!

That's a good question Blair, but you got him closer. Upon further review, a set of 318 heads looks to be an elusive quest. Very few Mopar offerings. Compare shipping costs to some of those fancy Edelbrock units, and your generous Vanner offer just might be a keeper.

Way more help than I. Good job there Blair

Hey guys!

Thank you for the info so far! I have emailed ATK VEGE so we'll see if they can give me more info and a price for the heads and shipping...so cheers for the link!

BlairW that's very cool of you to offer your heads! Can you tell me what condition they're in and are they complete? At this stage as long as there's no cracks etc in them I'm open to anything! In regards to shipping it's gonna cost me the same whoever I get them off as they just don't exist here in the UK. If you were up for finding out the cost of doing that then I'd be grateful..

Cheers!

I'll bet if you asked these guys, you'd at the very least learn a lot. I love where they say to stop on by for some coffee. Sounds like around here in Texas.

Good Shipping Bourneavanner

Hi Blair,

Do you still have those Mopar heads lying around. If so what is the casting number on the puppies?

I've still been looking relentlessly..

If you do still have them and they're a fit I could get you to send them to my friend in Cali and he can forward them onto me..

Cheers

Bourneavanner
