Rear is easy, I have plenty of room for the 33's I have back there now. But I had 31's on 15x7's that fit fine up front with the G30 springs (it raises the van by 1.5") but now since my wheels are wider, I am rubbing the front and rear corners of the fenders, badly. I clearanced them when I put the 15x7's, hammered in the sharp corners and made everything fit with no issues whatsoever. But it would take too much to clearance them now and I dont want to cut up the fenders at all.
I think I actually want to go back to stock G20 suspension ride height and wondering what size tire I could run that wont have fender clearance issues? I see plenty of vans with nice wide wheels in front and flares but have no idea of tire size to clear it. Just looking for some insight from people who run this wheel size up front. Id imagine I cant go super narrow due to the wheel width but there are a few tires sizes like 255/60 or 255/70 maybe? Again, I want it to work with stock suspension ride height. Thanks!

We ran a 15 x 8 with standard offset on the front for many years. We rubbed with the 255/60 but had no issues with the 245/60 or the 235/60 but I do not think you can use them with a 10" wide wheel. The 10" wide wheel may help squat the 255/60 some to allow it to clear but hard to say without trying it.
Try taking some measurements. First measure the vertical distance from center of hub to the fender lip and then another to the inside surface of the fender.
Then measure the distance between the A-arm and the rubber bumper to see how much vertical travel you have under full suspension compression (add some for the rubber bumper compression)
Also measure the horizontal distances from the face of the hub that the wheel bolts to, to the inside lip of the fender and to the inner fender well.
By measuring the offset of the wheels and getting charts for the section width and height of the tires you want, you should be able to calculate to see if they hit on paper or how much clearance they should have if all is perfect.

I dont rub when the suspension is compressed at all, the van sits high right now, its just rubbing in the lower front corner of the fender that makes up the wheel well. I could probably make a few relief cuts in the fender and hammer it in some more and roll the edge/corner in some but I'd prefer not so. Im sure if I keep the same suspension as I have now, I can fit a 255/60 or maybe even a 255/70 but Im thinking about putting stock G20 springs back in to make it back to stock height.

In the front I ran 255/60's and didn't have any issues with them rubbing anything... stock suspension, with 255K on it so I'm sure it was worn out a little... | | | Re: Tire size for 15x10s up front - G20 | Joined: Jul 2006 Posts: 1,593 veteran | veteran Joined: Jul 2006 Posts: 1,593 | Oh, I need to add to this - when I got them, they were all on 255/70 BFG and the fronts fid rub on that corner of the fender, and I had to clearance them a little...
