1990 Chevy G20 – What's needed for side pipes? #725656

Hey guys,

The stock exhaust is deteriorating on my 1990 Chevy G20 (http://i.imgur.com/75tS9EW.jpg). Seems to be a perfect time to get side pipes. I like these kind (https://www.instagram.com/p/BVrXPt-l1nC/?taken-by=virtualvanner&hl=en), but these are pretty cool too (https://www.instagram.com/p/BVHjbYIgi_7/?taken-by=virtualvanner&hl=en).

My question is – I know very little about working on cars/vans. What are all the parts needed (big and small) in order to get side pipes on my van and where can I order it all at once? I think my manifold is fine, but everything after that probably needs to be replaced. Also, since my car is a 1990, it doesn't need to pass emissions testing in Virginia.

I appreciate any guidance!

I installed a set of Trush sidepipes I got at a swap meet. If you buy new, all the mounting hardware will come with them and you go to a local muffler shop to get them hooked up.

Me, being frugal, mounted my pipes to the frame with uni-strut, and hooked them up with flex pipe.
