In Florida with 1977 Chevy Van g20. Never had the factory AC installed. Apparently there's no kit made for this model / year. Checked VintageAir, etc. Salvage yards seem pretty thin as well. I wasn't too keen on a rooftop unit but it's getting really hot.
New to the vanning scene, so otherwise having a blast! Any advice about where the best places to look is appreciated.
A lot of truck stuff crosses to vans. I have a hard time believing that nothing will work. All the under hood stuff should be standard for most of the decade.
....thought so too. Been to two shops specializing in classics. I'll keep looking. I found Carid.com. They might have everything ala cart. I'm going to see if I can find a diagram of how the system is supposed to look. At least to know where it all gets installed.
