Hi All..... well if you`re over fifty, take a tip and have your heart checked out.
For a few days leading up to Monday 5th, working on the van I had mild discomfort in the chest and occasional bout of breathlessness..Didn`t set off any alarms til last Monday, just sitting on the recliner sipping a coffee and BAM....... it hit hard......... Six days in cardiac unit with a couple of procedures and I`m home again.
Obviously it wasn`t that easy All those little `discomfort` sessions add up and each one is causing damage,, as my surgeon said you should have came in earlier, if I had been away or driving... the outcome would heve been very different.. Saying all that..I cant drive for two weeks, cant lift anything heavier than a coffee, so I have my painter guy coming round on wed to recommence working on the van. WE have about three more base coats to go, before clear. Earlier I had thought of a R66 theme. Now I`m wondering if a "BatVan" theme might work. stay well.
Hang in there. Sending good vibes and positive energy your way. Keep on keeping on.

Glad you're going to be OK. Three years ago I had similar symptoms, but not the BAM . Went to doc, ended up with a quadruple bypass. Took 16 weeks before I could work again (carpenter).
