Alright, so G series vans that have the abs system have a special procedure to bleed the brakes manually, you have to put a clip on the combination valve, and a clip on the abs valve, then you can bleed the brakes using the foot bump method, or vacuum bleed it, the problem i am facing is i do not have the clip tool to clip on to the combination valve, nor the abs valve.
my question to the forums is, "has anyone here made there own tool? or used some other kind of tool to hold the "valves" open?"
reason i am asking is i had to replace the brake master cylinder, and i did not look up weather or not i needed to bleed the brakes in a special fashion, only used my reg vacuum bleed kit, low and behold i hit an airbubble going down the road and had to pump my brakes, so i looked it up after.
let me know what you guys used, i may have to make my own special tool for the job.
