I cut off the old ac hose fittings and found some new ones at Napa, seems everything will fit ok.

Now I need to find someone who can crimp the fitting onto the hose or find a rental crimper as they are pretty pricey.

We have a local A/C shop that the hot rodders use when adding Vintage Air to their cars. You buy the fittings and rubber line from them, take it home, figure out the lengths of hose you need, mark them. Take them back, and they will cut and crimp them for you. You might look to see if you have a local shop that will offer to do the same.

After calling several repair shops and no one having an ac hose crimp tool, I found out a family friend who owns a repair shop has one and he let me borrow it.

Luckily it fit underneath the van so I didn't have to take out the rear hose that's sealed up with foam.



Finished product: Both new crimped fittings, new drier, and rust reformed bracket.
