Awesome. I would get that, if I had the room and the money, and the time to work on it. And if I fit behind the wheel. So, I guess I wouldn't buy it. but it is still pretty cool.

Why would you want to "fit behind the wheel"?
Do you have aspirations of vehicular suicide?
That's disturbing... that's what that is.

I would get that van, but then you'd be looking at me crosswise because I told you I couldn't buy yours, and I have too many cars anyway. So, I guess I wouldn't get it. But it would be a really cool project.

Fit behind the steering wheel. I am a "Big Boy" - 6'4" 310 pounds. I can't squeeze behind the stock steering wheel of the earlies, even though I really like them.

Nice.

And the Slant 6 is really strong...look at it pulling the front wheels in that first photo!

Yeah, I was just messin' with you, but I feel your pain... I like 60s era roadsters, but my head hits the top on most of them.
My Fiat 124 turned into a hoodie when the top was up. LOL

laugh

I can picture me wedged in behind the steering wheel when a young lady in a mini skirt stops beside me at a red light...and suddenly I can't steer anymore.....without doing bodily harm........ shocked

lol

One of the coolest things about the slant six powered A100 and A 108 trucks and vans is that if they were ordered with an automatic transmission they all got Chrysler's heavy duty 727 transmission. However, Chrysler did not introduce a 727 with a slant six case until 1968. Between 1964 and 1967 slant sixes were mated to v-8 transmissions using a factory adapter plate.

Why is this cool? Because that same factory adapter plate and hardware allows one to install a four speed automatic A500 or A518 behind a slant six. I have been casually looking for one of those adapter plate and hardware packages for years so I can have a slant six with an overdrive automatic transmission. They pop up every now and then but I have never ben in a position to buy one when they were available. I wish I could find a vanner that pulled a slant out of an early Dodge and was willing to get rid of the adapter package cheap.
