Hey folks, I'm sure this has been done before but here goes.

I have an 84 e250 XL and i need tires.

I have seen a few different 16 inch tires that may work but i wanted to lock in some info before i make a purchase.
Do i need 245/75/r16 E rated tires?
I'm not hauling or towing anything.

Is there any safe wiggle room on the tire sizes?

Thank you

DO NOT RUN PASSENGER CAR TIRES. At the very least run light truck tires. Your tall and heavy van needs the extra sidewall strength of true truck tires. So long as you don't use passenger car titres, the load rating is up to you.

Windows- they're what make a van worth owning!
