Does anyone know if a '91 B250 gas tank will fit into a '89?

Good morning gns67,

I believe that the tank setup would be the same between those two years. It's all fuel injection from 1988 up.

I have the big tanks in my 2 dodges, I'd say my '88 tank would fit. And the '94 B350 looks identical to that, even across the model year change into '94.

Thanks Wedgy, I found a '91 at the junkyard that I want to use to replace my cracked gas tank.

Well, it turns out they don't sell the gas tanks. In fact, they puncture them to drain the fuel. I need to find someone who does plastic welding who can repair mine.

Man, no luck anywhere. Found a guy up in Murphy, TX who was parting out a '88 B350 but the tank was already gone. Can't seem to find anyone who does this plastic welding either. Any advice for the forum would be much appreciated.
