On my 94 g20 van the overhead interior light has stopped working. It's the one where you rotate the light switch knob to the left.

The conversion lights still come on. I checked the main fuse box and all fuses were OK. There is a small fuse box behind the driver's seat which I believe are for the conversion lights, nothing has popped out. Any ideas?

Do they still come on when you open the door? If not then I would suspect a blown fuse/power issue.

Does your instrument panel lighting still work? If not then I would suspect a bad/loose ground.

The interior light circuit has power on it all the time. The headlight switch knob and/or the door switches provide the ground side for the interior lights to light. So if they don't work either way then you probably don't have any power going to them.
Check the under dash fuse panel. You may have a blown fuse.
If you do have a blown fuse then you most likely have a short on the power wiring side of the light circuit.
If the fuse is good then you may have a loose connection somewhere in the circuit.

Stupid question but did the bulb blow out? Test the power at the light.
