3" pipes are obnoxiously loud - I love 'em, but exhaust drone will undoubtedly be unbearable in a van. 2.5" seems to be a wise choice here. The Flowtechs you have picked out rank nicely against other performance brands on a Dyno-Test, and seem like a good pick. Flowmasters ranked pretty high as well, and not only do they have great performance, but if you get the stainless variety they come with a Lifetime Warranty. I hope it all goes well for ya, and keep us posted! Cotton

Flowbastards are garbage. THe only thing they do is sell other makers mufflers for them.

Be careful some exhaust changes that result in reduced back pressure will cause the check engine light to come on. The code usually is for the egr valve because the EGR on our Dodge uses a BPV Transducer. Reduced back pressure causes the egr to not function and then after the ecm checks for changes in emissions during egr activation it detects none and a code is set.

Love these mufflers! Great sound, a lot of history, and priced quite reasonably. It looks like Thrush (along with another favorite Dynomax) appears to be a brand of Walker mufflers. Borla is also worthy of mention here too as a fav. Cotton

In-correct. I have no motive to steer anyone astray. If you think Flowbastards are a "good" muffler(sound aside as sound is subjective)You're just wrong that's all. Obviously you don't know any muffler shop folks. Flowbastards have sold more mufflers from other companies than any muffler in history.

And I don't need to post ANYTHING.

Please continue this argument in PM's.
It has nothing to do with the OP question.
His question was pipe not mufflers.
He has already picked a muffler.

Ah no, I admit that I like getting a rise out of our resident ray of sunshine, but there's no "beef" here to be hashed-out in PM's. Sorry for getting OT guys, but my B.S. flag keeps trying to get me in trouble. 'Nuff said.

Good luck OP, & keep us posted. cheers Cotton
