How do you removed the black knob on the shift selector so I can put something fun on the end? Same question for the tilt knob. 1991 G20

Heat gun to soften the rubber and glue, I did this on an old custom deluxe pickup so I could put cool guy knobs on.

Put the lever in a vice. Get a pipe wrench, vice grips, or big channel grips and twist. It'll pop right off.
