Yeah I dig the single door and the side windows.

The PO had tinkered with it but I had assumed the worst as in blown engine. He had put a new carburetor on and hadn't reconnected the thing all the way and then the freeze plugs were leaking. So it wasn't moving on it's own. PO really nice guy posted just a few times.

The trucking company that shipped it was so funny they had their trucking company in marker on card board and taped to the side of the truck. I so wanted a picture but they were super nice. They didn't have to but helped push it up the drive. I think they really liked the van and had gotten a lot of looks towing it over.

Ok last update for now. . .

Got a rivet kit and re-did the door strap so it wouldn't fly open.

Replaced the missing D (Thanks again METZ!)

Switched out the old seats. They smelled like cat piss and ass. Would have considered re-upholstery but they couldn't be saved.

Had these and installed them (phew) this was the hard one. I guess uncle_d_619 had gotten a full set and let these go to me for pretty cheap.

Probably THE most important thing is that she passed inspection and is now licensed, registered, and insured! yay

I am man! I can't wait to get my new rims on - She just can't be seen cruising around in rusty old rims.

I had bought a set of doors from Johnny O last spring. The doors had one lock pull remaining which was aluminum milled to look like a bullet. I threw the doors into the shed and forgot it until recently when straightening things up in there. I really thought it was cool so I found out who made them and ordered some. After ordering two different sets I discovered that universal doesn't necessarily mean universal.
You would think pulls would be easy to get a hold of but not necessarily. Doors need 8/32 tread which was hard to find because I guess most door pulls are 10/24 thread. I found Kustom Knob Works and he made me a set. https://www.facebook.com/Kustom-Knobworks-519477408120220/

They look good on on her and she seemed pretty happy about them.
