So it was maybe March when I saw a post on Instagram from the Rolling Death Van Club up in Seattle about a van for sale. I contacted the guy selling it and he was really willing to work on the price and then I was able to find shipping at a very unreasonable price <SMILE>. The guy sent me pictures from every angle and I was really happy that it was everything I had hoped it would be when it got here. (May) It's not perfect but I'm loving it!

Thanks 86ed. First thing I did was switch a few things out. I was glad to find holes where I expected them to be. I put a set of mirrors and Big Ronís Street Van badges on.

That's a sweet Dodge! I've never seen picture windows that actually match the body line. Pretty neat.

This is turning into a catch-up post. I ripped out what was left of the interior. I would have loved to seen the original. It looks like it had been white fur with a dark royal blue trim. The Venturi vent leaks and I was worried about wet insulation next to the roof so I pulled it.

[Linked Image]

Horrible picture but you can see the not so white fur and the blue trim in the back.

[Linked Image]

No picture but be assured pulling insulation is no fun at all. The Static cling had the insulation sticking to the metal. I'm still finding little pieces in the back.

[Linked Image]

Water damage really wasn't that bad it was dripping down to the wood then floor.

Cool ride. Man, I've always loved those single rear doors on the Dodge vans.

Yeah I dig the single door and the side windows.

The PO had tinkered with it but I had assumed the worst as in blown engine. He had put a new carburetor on and hadn't reconnected the thing all the way and then the freeze plugs were leaking. So it wasn't moving on it's own. PO really nice guy posted just a few times.

The trucking company that shipped it was so funny they had their trucking company in marker on card board and taped to the side of the truck. I so wanted a picture but they were super nice. They didn't have to but helped push it up the drive. I think they really liked the van and had gotten a lot of looks towing it over.
