feels like I'm getting a few potential reasons for my current problem... "sump" bolts?????? 79 B-200

They should have changed the oil after doing the intake. The first oil change is a loss. Anytime you open a motor the oil needs to be changed. You will have some fluid in there from the repair. Just try a oil change. If your only driving it once a week, start it and warm it up every three days. Yes bonnets, sumps, and rocker boxes. I'd love to go over there for hot rod night and listen to the local lingo. | | | Re: Yellowish/milky oil on dipstick 72 Dodge B200 | Joined: Feb 2016 Posts: 241 enthusiast | enthusiast Joined: Feb 2016 Posts: 241 | really hard tell buy pics, looks like most foamy stuff is at top of stick and on edges of it,you pulled this stick after running?? if so you would of had nuttin but foamy shit on stick,no clean oil on end like shows in pics.......leak on hose from pump to rad would be were the coolant is going,,,,, That's what I said.

"Sump" and "oil pan" are interchangeable terms. Like anitfreeze and radiator fluid.
Windows- they're what make a van worth owning! | | | Re: Yellowish/milky oil on dipstick 72 Dodge B200 | Joined: Mar 2015 Posts: 62 journeyman | OP journeyman Joined: Mar 2015 Posts: 62 | So....went to the the new auto shop today. We got her up on the hoist and had a generally better look at her. Bad news is..I have a crack on the right hand side cylinder head, most likely where I am losing the coolant from..still not 100% on that as investigations are continuing...found I was blowing out oil from around the rubber grommet where the breather return is.. We dropped the sump/oil pan plug to get a better look at the oil and it was the same as last time and looked fine, no chocolate milkshake, no sign of condensation.. Does any one have any leads on where I can source a stock mopar cylinder head from? not ridiculously expensive... | | | Re: Yellowish/milky oil on dipstick 72 Dodge B200 | Joined: Nov 2013 Posts: 2,285 Likes: 153 veteran | veteran Joined: Nov 2013 Posts: 2,285 Likes: 153 | Bourneavanner,
Greetings, and here's to you getting that Dodge sorted out. Hope you found a good Shop. Who love Vans. Ha!
On the Heads, Don't have a clue about the UK, sorry Mate...
But. I Googled the guy I got all mine from, Pete. Search California cylinder head...
I drove 200 miles up there every time. It was worth it.
Pete, it appears, has sold CCH to ATK VEGE. What will come up with the story is the contact info for ATK.
Pete always hooked me up. ATK is a LOT bigger company, located here in Texas. If you need to, hit 'em up. There eh. Good luck! BaV.
CCH was a great little shop. So, I don't know much, but with cylinder heads, if you're going in there anway, I wouldn't do just the one.
Just a thought.
