A few months ago I injured my knee and was in a knee brace for almost two months so I really couldn't do much on the van. I got that off a few weeks ago and started block sanding the van. I somehow pinched a nerve in my neck and my left arm has been in a lot of pain and my left hand is numb. Have seen multiple doctors, MRI's etc so I haven't been able to do anything on the van. Tonight I couldn't take it any more so I decided to start working on my rear door (didn't have to do too much lifting). My rear doors are barn style at the bottom and gull wing on top and the passenger side was full of cancer on the bottom: So I started cutting the bottom off of my half door and cutting the bottom of the donor door and hopefully by tomorrow I will finish separating them and will weld the new piece on my door: | | | Re: My new 77 Dodge project!!!! | Joined: Sep 2013 Posts: 1,536 veteran | veteran Joined: Sep 2013 Posts: 1,536 | Hi Lee, Sorry your hurting man, Van Therapy is a good thing, Hope your feeling better | | | Re: My new 77 Dodge project!!!! | Joined: Jul 2009 Posts: 6,256 Likes: 164 Master Metal Sculptor | OP Master Metal Sculptor Joined: Jul 2009 Posts: 6,256 Likes: 164 | Well, finished cutting the two doors apart and then fitted them. Hopefully, weld them together this evening and start the bodywork. | | | Re: My new 77 Dodge project!!!! | Joined: Jun 2010 Posts: 12,847 Maniac | Maniac Joined: Jun 2010 Posts: 12,847 | Here are the zoomies I picked up: Here are the tips I put on (I wanted the ones that turned up at a 45 degree angle but couldn't find them) so I went with straight pipes: Just saw this Lee....very cool !
