Despite a liberal application of some PB blaster for a few days before trying to unscrew my antenna from the base, the bolt broke.

I am not sure if the bolt threads comes out of the base, or out of the antenna. My factory service manual does not show.

Kind of resigned to having to install something after market.

I Don't often listen to radio...
But when I do, I want good reception

Kind of considering moving it up higher and out of the field of view. With Antennas, height is might.

Thoughts?
