Nice work man...!

I'm a fan of the Beauville interior trim - A-pillars, B-pillars, side door window trim... I've added some to other vans that didn't come with them, when I've found them of course...

For sure! Makes the interior look so much more finished.

Console is nice. Headlamp bezels look great! I did the same thing with the wheel centers on my '95. Why GM put flat silver paint over beautiful chrome is beyond me.

Alright everyone. It looks like my photobucket account is on borrowed time. I thought that I may have missed the massive screwing that they gave the internet because I had been paying $2.99/mo for their upgraded storage account, but I received this email from them over the weekend:

Hello Jason ,

This message is to inform you that your Plus20 subscription has been discontinued. You will continue to keep all of your plus benefits until your expiration date. In order to stay current post expiration, we ask that you upgrade to one of our latest plans.

We've been working on some exciting new stuff for 2018, including a new plan which offers additional benefits at a far greater value.

Thank you for your continued business and please do not hesitate reaching out with any questions.
-Sebastian

Have questions? We are happy to help! Email plus@photobucket.com

Needless to say I'm not paying them several hundred dollars a year for picture hosting. I'm pissed and won't post the email that they received in return. They had a good thing going and they got greedy. Looking forward to watching their business implode in the near future. That being said, I would expect that most of my posted pictures will disappear sometime in the next few weeks. My dad is working on setting up a dedicated picture hosting server for himself and I will be hosting all of my stiff from there as well. I have already done a mass download of my entire photobucket account and have it saved, so that is a relief. Unfortunately this isn't an immediate process and it's going to take a few weeks, possibly even months to get up and running correctly. Once it is working I will work on replacing all of my picture links throughout all of my build threads (several cars, several forums). I'm obviously not uploading any more pictures for the time being, but luckily there isn't anything too amazing happening with the van yet. Just slowly getting it all buffed and working on some of the interior upholstery and wiring a little bit at a time. I'll keep the thread updated if anything interesting happens, but no more pictures for a while.

That being said, if anyone wants to follow, I'll probably increase my Instagram activity which can be followed @ team.turner.

If you decide not to use the dedicated server, check out Flickr. After struggling with the bucket for years, you WILL NOT BELIEVE how fast and easy Flickr is, and like 100x the free photo storage. It loads so fast compared to the bucket, it won't take you any time at all to move in. "How to" here...

I’ve been changing my build thread here over to Flickr, and it’s just as easy as photobrokit...

I’ve been slacking here, and I need to post weekly - Astro that runs the site is a good guy and he deserves our support...!

Allright I gotta chime in. Not trying to complain, just voice an opinion. And tuner4life I am sorry that I am posting on your thread but I think it is appropriate because you seem to be one of the few that post photos. I love your van and admire your vision and determination. I hope to meet you at the Nats this year!

Posting photos on this site is overly difficult.

Why must I first have to set up a hosting account? Why cant I just post photos directly from my files? I have never posted a photo here but I am a member on other auto and non-auto related sites that allow direct photo uploading and have done so many, many times. Part of the requirements of posting thru the common photo host sites is that the images become theirs and I give up all rights to my images. F that. Then they want to charge umpteen dollars to subscribe. F that too. Then they up their fees and if you dont pay, all of your past images get wiped out. F that three.

I take lots of photos both for business and pleasure and I manage them all on my laptop without the need for an outside cloud host. I can post photos on forums, email, text, whatever any quantity I want just about anywhere I want without an issue. Everywhere but here.

I have seen other posters on this forum state that "no one updates here anymore". Me thinks that it might be because there is little traffic and people are posting elsewhere. I get it, forum users want to see pictures hence the "pictures or it didnt happen" response.

I dont have a f-book or insty-g account but lots of folks do and those are the places to go if you want to see and hear about VANS. Maybe not old Chevies or trucks from the 30s but most definitely for VANS.

I dont know if the forum administrators (Astro?) will see this post but if so, why not make it easier to post photos here? I know I would post if I didnt have to go thru a third party site.

Sorry to vent but just my 2%.

I started following you on IG, Tuner. Username is 0zerohour0

I would bet we can't just attach files because it would increase the cost to host this board. Only a guess.
