Wookee (RIP) did this conversion on his '89, but I don't remember him doing all that cutting to do the install. ???

Me too. I lived pretty close by and unfortunately didn't get to visit him one last time before he passed. One thing I think about that makes me laugh is when you got on the phone with him you'd better find a comfy seat, gets some snacks, and some drinks because you'd be in for the long haul!
