Got an offer today from a friend who has had a rough time of things this winter. He is offering his motor/trans, fuel system, ignition system, and rear end carriage as well as help installing into my Safari if I do it.
The motor is a built 454 out of his BB Regal project that he will not be able to complete. I can have everything for $2500. Got my wheels turning for sure.
I am wondering about doghouse sizing, chassis strengthening, rear suspension upgrades, fuel cells, etc
I see a lot of SB Chev swaps, but dont see any big blocks yet. Can someone tell me from experience if there are fitment issues?? I do have a welder, but not too much time or $$

How do you know it won't work? Have you tried it, yet??

There was a guy on here a long time ago that did a 454 in his Astro with no real issues from what I recall.

His van was blue, seriously slammed , and tubbed, wish I could recall his name.
