Otherwise you will be looking for that hardware.
You can take that 77' grill and hardware and transplant it up to a 96' | | | Re: 1977 "Nomad" van - What should I pull? | Joined: Apr 2004 Posts: 2,030 Likes: 51 veteran | veteran Joined: Apr 2004 Posts: 2,030 Likes: 51 | Don't bother with the fenders, I've removed them before and it takes too long. Get as many large bits as you can and remove the smaller trim bits off when you're home. I removed those fendergaurds (over-riders) from mine and the bumpers were OK underneath.

Thanks for all the input guys. Can't wait til I get a chance to go parts yankin. Right now though, with it being in the single digits outside, I'm keeping my happy rear end inside.

I would try to get this entire van home if you can, these nomads are LOADED with options and finish trim......as much as you could get in 77 LOL Any chance it has the in dash DELCO AM/FM/CB radio? I could use one of those for my nomad.

Hopefully get down there soon. | | | Re: 1977 "Nomad" van - What should I pull? | Joined: Nov 2009 Posts: 644 addict | addict Joined: Nov 2009 Posts: 644 | Instead of traveling to the van, have the van towed to you. AAA towing membership will tow up to 100 miles for free. With the price of fuel and your time it seems more advantageous to have the van close by to pull as many parts at your leisure.
An open road, full tank of gas,and a good selection of music,me and my Chevy van

Can't do that either. Live in the city and constantly getting hassled by the cops about anything that sits for more than 14 days. 1971 Chevy pickup that had a flat tire for a week, 1957 VW with no city sticker (which isn't even required on antique vehicles), 1972 Chevelle that sat in my shed, etc etc etc. Not even sure if I'm going to make it down to pull the parts now as I'm dealing with some medical issues at the moment which are taking all my money and not able to travel. Hopefully I can get back on my feet in time to snatch this stuff. | | | Re: 1977 "Nomad" van - What should I pull? | Joined: Nov 2002 Posts: 1,578 Likes: 2 veteran | veteran Joined: Nov 2002 Posts: 1,578 Likes: 2 | Sorry to hear but health comes first and van parts run a close second behind so take care of yourself, these parts will always be somewhere.
