Have gone thru 2 Vans in last 3 years and looking at buying a Old shorty.... So that brings me to my question.....Its a 1969 Dodge A100. Its in good shape no rust in the pics and owner states that too. It has a 318,(newer not from 60s) 3-speed auto, sublime green paint, missing rear doors ( custom look ) and shaved side door handles, no interior in back. 100% all new breaks frnt and back. So what should i look for? What were the problems with these vans? what should I be looking for when i see it in a few days? Any help would be very appreciated. Thank you for reading ,Have a great day M

I hope it turns out well for you. | | | Re: buying a 1969 Dodge A100 need advice... | Joined: Jun 2011 Posts: 142 member | member Joined: Jun 2011 Posts: 142 | I've had a 66 van and a 69 a100 truck here, . It sounds like the mechanical bases are covered. Worst places I saw for rust were the rear spring hangers that are kinda tucked into the rear roll pan area. And in the front portion of the forward wheel wells. Simple creatures so mostly anything original will need to be replaced. | | |
