My Long time buddy Pat has been doing the van stuff since the 70's. Started out with one shop, then opened his own as Alamo Conversion. For years he built nice custom vans for customers and local car dealers. As the fad waned, he started doing handicap conversions. Lately with his own health issues, another handicap van shop that has taken just about all his business away through VA buddy-buddy connections (although he can't prove it for any legal recourse), and the economy, he's closing down. I am headed over today to help him sort through 30 odd years of van stuff. Will be posting what we find. Already know some of it is vintage 70's and 80's.

Sorry to hear that. This economy has been really rough on everyone. Hopefully the vanners on here will be able to purchase his inventory and help him in clearing everything out.

Unfortunately many of the people in the van shop business for decades are not on the internet so they don't know that this stuff can be gold these days. Hopefully he can make some good money out of this on these parts he may have had 30 years and thought were worthless.
