I could have sworn it was metal...or non-see through at least. | | | Re: FUEL FILTER #59959 February 19th 2005 1:57 am | Joined: Jan 2005 Posts: 1,101 old hand | OP old hand Joined: Jan 2005 Posts: 1,101 | I GUESS I'LL TRY THE NEW FILTER. I JUST DON"T TRUST USING PLASTIC. THE METAL ONES NOW HAVE A RETURN HOSE BACK TO THE GAS TANK. | | | Re: FUEL FILTER #59960 February 19th 2005 8:47 pm | Joined: Jan 2001 Posts: 2,964 Likes: 63 veteran | veteran Joined: Jan 2001 Posts: 2,964 Likes: 63 | NAPA makes a metal filter. I didn't like the plastic filter being my duel exhaust run so close to it. | | | Re: FUEL FILTER #59961 February 20th 2005 2:00 pm | Joined: Nov 2001 Posts: 3,302 pooh-bah | pooh-bah Joined: Nov 2001 Posts: 3,302 | There are two styles of the metal ones. The one with the return port are for early 80s and up. Any local parts store should have the standard metal one with an inlet and outlet. I have gotten them from Auto Zone and Car Quest in the past year. | | | Re: FUEL FILTER #59962 February 20th 2005 10:18 pm | Joined: Jan 2005 Posts: 1,101 old hand | OP old hand Joined: Jan 2005 Posts: 1,101 | THANKS GUYS.
