I miss my early Econoline. Going to go cry now.

When Chris Farley talked about living in a van down by the river, did anybody else think that wasn't such a bad idea?

YES,.....HELL YA
My favorite saying is "I have had more fun than any one person can imagine."

I know regular people do not have this much fun just by the look of disbelief they get on there faces when you try to tell them about the fun you have had.....

When I took a ten year break from 2% vanning. The previouse life style I led gave me some very important social tools that came in very handy when I was doing the 9 to 5 thing.

Just passed my 7th anniversary back in vanning.
I really don't know why but the past 7 years have been event more fun than the first 15 years I spent vanning.

The only thing I might do different if I could go back was buy a Chevy as my 1st van.

Other than that MY LIFE IS GOOD........

ABSOLUTELY NO REGRETS

The only thing I would want to change is finding out about vanning sooner.

Started vanning in 78, actually thought about it 6 years earlier, but when I went to check out vans at a dealer (Chevy I do believe) everything, and I do mean everything was optional, from extra seats to a passenger side outside mirror. So, I decided against it and kept up with my street racing ways. If I had to do it again, those options would have been sitting in my driveway and I would have started years sooner. To quote with a little change, a Saturday Night Live character, "Vanning been very very good to me".

Why is it that when I press 1 for English, I still can not understand the person on the other end????

When I bought mine in 1977 still have it .I saw two clubs around my area ( Dusk till Dawn ) ( Nite owl vans I think ) They met at parks having fun as we all know it but never approached them my mistake . I would do it in a heart beat. Now have to make a choice to try to sell the van do to couple reasons .

Dusk 'til Dawn
High Times
Indicators
(We Bad Girls were around, just not named yet, so to speak!)

there were also Western New York VAN Association (different than the WNYVANS of today, Niagara to the west and Salt City to the east....)

Thanks for the trip down memory lane from back home....glad you still found us after all these years!

Cherish your friends!
HUGGS to all!

No doubt about it. But as some have mentioned, my big change would have been to remain a body repair man and continue to build radical vans. I was always broke and tired but those were certainly the good old days...
