How this is setup on a cargo van? I know on a wagon there is an overhead ducting system. I dream of having a Sportsmobile-type poptop installed someday and wouldn't want to mess with redoing the AC system. Rear heat and AC are a necessity. Otherwise you may be making more work for yourself. Just a thought. My ride is a 75 Ford with a '90 body that came with rear heat and air built into the driver's side. The heat and air conditioner unit with fan is located just behind the drivers seat with ducts three places front to rear. I believe it is a Club Wagon option (if they still offer those:< )) so you might check with dealer if you can get that option installed on a cargo van. Clubs are window vans, but this unit would work on any van style since it mounts below where the windows would go (if you don't have any). ------------------ BoneHead Built on Vanning Memories Powered by Vanning Dreams | | | Re: Rear AC/heat in Cargo Van #57316 February 24th 2001 12:57 am | Joined: Dec 2000 Posts: 55 member | OP member Joined: Dec 2000 Posts: 55 | Thanks. I haven't had any luck finding a cargo van of any sort with the rear heat and air option. Most are strippers, some are rack and bin vans. There is an "all-around window" option for the cargo van. Not a big deal since I haven't decided on no windows, custom windows, or factory windows yet. Again, thanks for the help. | | | Re: Rear AC/heat in Cargo Van #57317 February 24th 2001 1:01 am | Joined: Dec 2000 Posts: 55 member | OP member Joined: Dec 2000 Posts: 55 | Cloudy, thanks. Thinking of a newer van. Besides, an ambulance may give me flashbacks. Spent a lot of time in them. The Captain | | |
