Was at the park and a guy with a ford 150 eco came in, I gave him a promo card a month or so ago, when he pulled up he put it in rev to back up into the spot. When he did this I heard his hood pop.....I walked back to his van and asked "your hood pops in rev" ? "naw I have to pull the coil and batt cause the ignition barrel is messed up" (this guy was doing this in the rain today)...Ive only met this guy 1 time but he lives in his van and was broke......without telling him I went to auto parts store and got him a new ign switch, brought it back to the park and gave it to him......the look on his face. The look of tears that someone still cares.... All I stated was "Vanners help Vanners". He then stated "Your the guy with that card" "Yep sign on & 5000 others will also care & help in any way they can"...

Who have you helped lately ?....I spent a total of 10 bucks and 10 mins to make his day/week...

That's great man.

Haven't bought any parts for anyone, but I'm hauling parts for a vanner later this month. I try to help if and when I can.

Nice to see good people still exist. I haven't helped a fellow vanner in a while, guy was out of gas so I gave him a lift to the nearest station and bought him a soda, brought him back to his rig. Yesterday Ijumped a guys truck at the bank and he proceeded to give me 40 bucks, I relunctantly turned it down but he insisted.

Gone vannin' I'll call you later.

Back when I was 4wheeling every day I came across a guy stuck in a puddle. I say puddle cause that's what it was to my jeep. It was a small lake to his s10. Before he could ask I was hooked up and walked him out with ease. He tried giving me the $260 he had. Said thats what it was gona cost for the tow truck. Money would have been nice but 4wheelers help 4wheelers much like vanners. I've changed flat tires on the side of highways for people I didn't know and never will. For some its just part of our nature to help those who need it. For us $10 is a coffee and sandwich but for him it will keep him safe and warm when starting and stopping his van/home. Hats off to ya for helping him out smile

We have helped! We always check when we see a VAN on the shoulder to see if we can help---especially out there in the middle of nowheres!

We have also helped Vanners who needed a vehicle--when we had an extra VAN that just wasn't suited to us--we arranged it so that some Vanners in need could have it--and when one Vanner from another state wanted to buy a VAN that was 10 miles away froms us, but couldn't get to it because of a family emergency--well, we helped.

Helping is just what we do and part of our life. I would expect a Vanner to stop before anyone else!

Cherish your friends!
HUGGS to all!
