Honestly can't remember the first van-in; will have to check our old dash plaques. I do remember the first van party. It was for all vanners in the Colorado front range area and was in the Spring of 1975 held in a bar in downtown Denver. We had been attending Rocky Mountain Vans of Denver meetings for a while and had cruised around town with them, but hadn't yet been to an eVANt. This party was the wildest things these small town kids had ever seen with dancing on the tables, etc., etc. Met a lot of vanners there and we were hooked. The first of many, many great parties in Colorado with vanners.

I, not events, have the power to make me happy or unhappy today. I can choose which it shall be. Yesterday is dead, tomorrow hasn't arrived yet. I have just one day, today, and I'm going to be happy in it. Groucho Marx
