| | | Re: all that rust!!! and a 1975 rebuild | Joined: Feb 2012 Posts: 12 stranger | OP stranger Joined: Feb 2012 Posts: 12 | ground the hell out of it, brushed on durl-etch two part acid to stop and kill all the rust, rust primer, then top coat, the screwed a stainless sheet over the hole, and dura-glassed (like bondo, but with a fiberglass base) around that, life caulked the leaky windsheild that caused it befor I bought it, and primed and coated over the edges of the dura-glass.
