Hey, like a goon I broke off part of the brake booster check valve - the hose fitting end is now a nub. Does that valve just pull out or do I have to remove the booster unit? I think I can nab one at the JY. Thanks, if you have this info. FSM is silent on the matter.

If I remember correctly, it is just a barbed fitting.

Careful you don't drop the broke barb inside the booster.

Thanks! It is the outside hose fitting part that broke - looks like I can just pull out the old one and replace then?

Should pull right out.
Hit it with a hair dryer for a while or the rubber grommet might crack.

BTW that is a generic picture. i could not find the exact one for Dodge. Mine also has another barb for a line leading to my cruise control

Thanks for the removal tip - looks like Dorman has a generic replacement about $5.

If I go to the Pick-a-Part I always over buy.

I'm thinking about Astro van seats - and I need bumpers!

I'd go with a new one. It's a check valve and one from a J/Y could be bad.
