Of coarse it is hard to tell what they did when the conversion was done......

You're telling me! I have a Ford NP205 Transfer Case tail-shaft in my 78 Chevy. The speedometer cable is factory from the speedometer down but there is an 'adapter cable' of sorts that has a female side for the end of the Chevy speedometer cable and a Ford style plug in speedometer gear on the other side. unfortunately that's the cable that broke and I'm having a hell of a time trying to find a replacement that will work.

Just worked out how to put up an image so here is my 1987 G20 conversion, had a pretty good interior when I got it 6 months ago but was in need of much TLC.

I decided to take out most of the woodwork as some of it was in poor condition and some of it had been replaced (badly)

It came with really great chrome wheels but they were too large and rubbed in a few places, I decided it would be better to get something that fitted and was lucky enough to find these original '77 Cadilac wires(not hubcaps)

Quite a few jobs already done (exhaust/shocks/park brake/door seals) with many more to do.

Some rust holes in the rear floor around the wheels and the smaller side door is bad at the bottom (see photo), not sure what to do with that.











The smaller side door rust damage, any suggestions ?
Replace or repair ?

That would definately be a "REPLACE" !!
