I just read this whole thread. Great looking van and great job. Looking forward to more updates.

It's been a while but we're back. Quick update back in April 2014 motor failed. A lobe on the Cam went flat. Pulled the motor with a friend who said " don't take it to a shop, we can do it". Didn't think it would take 2 1/2 years. It's done and back in the van and running great so far.



All new stuff and running.



Changed the rear end gears from 2.73 to 3.73's with a new axel, bearings etc.. Still breaking them in.
Got it to muffler shop and had some work done. BEFORE SHOTS. True duals no cats from factory.



AFTER SHOTS. new piping 2.5" from 2.25", x pipe installed reused the flowmasters 40 series since they were good. New tips change the angle a bit.




Next up 700 R4 conversion..stay tuned.

Thanks, I really missed driving it and forgot really how much I enjoyed it. I even forgot how to post pics, had to figure it all out again but it's starting to come back. Haven't had much time to really work on things since we finished the motor. Here's a couple of pics of the muffler tips. OLD. They came out straight and were 2".


NEW, come out at a slight angle and are 3" now the 400 can breath, 402 to be exact. The sound is night and day different, it sounds like a V8 now not like two 4 bangers. EXHALE BABY!
